We’re looking for responsible, motivated, and flexible individuals to join our team of Healthcare Assistants. The successful candidates will be responsible for administering care to the elderly and disabled and working closely with both patients and families. The responsibilities of this position include travelling to client’s homes, help with medication management and providing support with dressing, eating, and bathing.

Responsibilities:

• Help provide quality care to patients and families by working as part of a healthcare team to support patient care.
• Attend to the basic needs of patients, such as personal care, feeding or administering medication while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
• Communicate with other healthcare team members and family members.
• Follow protocols and procedures.
• Respond to patients’ emotional and physical needs using the correct moving and handling procedures.
• Help provide a clean and safe environment for patients, families, and staff assisting with daily routine.
